What personal data do we collect and what are the reasons for it?

When registering, the necessary information is requested. To use the page no information is required. We do not share this information with third parties and use it solely to fulfill their purpose (e.g., make the reservation, reply to message via contact form, ..)

When making a booking

For billing purposes we need your full name and address. We need the email address to inform you about the success of the registration as well as sending you further information where to find Casa Lapa.- e.g. - and of course we need the dates when you want to stay. To suite your needs and prepare the rooms, we ask for the number of children and adults.
Access to this data is only available to the site owner and for technical reasons the maintainer of the website: Ink and Feather Design Studios (France).

We ask for your name and e-mail address to get back to you. Additional information entered will be treated confidential.

Data retention policy

After fulfillment of your order or request, we will delete all information in our system and will only keep the information required by law for invoices for the statutory period when placing an order (name and address, invoice amount). All other information concerning your interaction with us will be erased after completion of a course or workshop, all data will be erased.

We collect anonymously information about the device used (desktop or mobile device) in order to better tailor our offer to customer preferences, which pages were visited and if any errors occurred. We collect IP addresses solely for the purpose of spam prevention and ensure the security of the site and its data, so that we can block malignant IPs.

Encryption

To secure the connection to the website we use SSL encryption. This is to prevent the pages you visit and the information you enter from being accessible to others. Depending on your browser, you can usually recognize this by the green icon in front of the address bar and at the beginning of our address with "https". At irregular intervals, we make backup copies of the website. If the site is affected by an unsolvable problem, such as database corruption, a successful website or server attack, we will use these snapshots to recover the site. New backup copies replace old ones, we do not look at them until they are needed, otherwise they will - as just described - deleted. These backups are managed by Ink and Feather Design Studios in France on encrypted hard drives.

Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics

Our website uses the “demographic characteristics” function of Google Analytics. It can be used to create reports that contain statements on the age, gender and interests of the site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising
from Google as well as from visitor data from third parties. It is not possible to assign the data to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time. You can do this via the ad settings in your Google account or
